Om dit jaar te beginnen gaan we 26 februari hard knallen met een ZiekeZuiden Café editie in de kelder van Dynamo. We hebben Dret & Krulle uit de Bijlmer in Eindje. Ze hebben vorig jaar zich bewezen door de finale van Grolsch Grote Prijs 2009 te winnen. Ook de New Skool MC's EP is goed ontvangen in de scene.
Naast Dret & Krulle hebben we de knallers uit het Zieke Zuiden: Fris & Dood, Braz, en Hardnekkig.
Skenkie zal als host het publiek warm houden en y'skid zal de platen spinnen.
Afkomstig uit de K-buurt van Amsterdam Zuidoost, met roots in Suriname begonnen Dret & Krulle hun rap carrière 5 jaar geleden met hun rapcrew de Vaderloze Troepe (VLT). Hun laatste video genaamd Verder die is geregisseerd door Teemong uit Eindhoven is inmiddels al meer dan 500.000 bekeken. Eind 2009 brachten dit duo hun eerste EP uit genaamd ‘new Skool MC’s. Deze werd positief ontvangen door de Hiphopscene. Op dit moment zijn de kersverse Grote Prijs van Nederland (2009) winnaars bezig met het realiseren van hun debuut album die volgens planning waarschijnlijk eind 2010 zal worden uitgebracht.
