Emily Janneke (Zij/Die-She/they)

Emily is een queer kunstenaar/dichter wonend en werkzaam in Eindhoven. Afgestudeerd
aan de Kunstacademie Sint joost, Emily interesseert zich in thema’s zoals identiteit,
gender en queerness. Na een lange zoektocht om een plek te vinden waar die deze thema’s
kon onderzoeken met gelijkgestemde heeft die Qac (Queer art club) opgericht om mensen
de ruimte te bieden die hen zelf nergens kon vinden. Emily is enthousiast over andere mensen hun passies en ideeën en helpt graag deze te realiseren. Haar filosofie is dat het plezier in maken en creëren altijd belangrijker is dan het resultaat

Emily is a queer artist/poet living and working in Eindhoven. Graduated from Sint Joost
school of art and design, Emily is interested in themes like identity, gender, and queerness. After a long search to find a place to explore those themes among like-minded people, they started QAC (queer art club) to create that space for other people as well as themself. Emily is enthusiastic about helping people realize their ideas and passions. She believes that the joy of creating is always more important than the end result.
